David L. Veres – Pleasant Hills
David L. Veres, 73, of Pleasant Hills, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Whitehall Borough Skilled Nursing. He was semi-retired after 36 years as a public relations consultant for the David L. Veres Company in Pleasant Hills. He had a passion for aviation and World War II history. He was an avid plane modeler in his younger years and was a member of the International Plastic Modelers Society for many years. He enjoyed martial arts, primarily judo. Born March 6, 1952, in Charleroi, he was a son of the late Milan J. and Dolores Sedlak Veres. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judi H. Hajel Veres; children, Rachel Veres of Pleasant Hills, Benjamin (Ashley) Veres of Cranberry Township, Leah Veres of Pleasant Hills and Jonathan (Caitlin Crall) Veres of Pittsburgh; granddaughter, Nayla Veres; siblings, Joseph (Paula) Veres, Beth (Larry) Pansino, Dale (Cathi) Veres, Jean (Bob) Muir and Jennifer (Michael) Rubin; along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 North Second Ave., Elizabeth, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025.
