Lucille A. Aloisi – Monessen

Lucille A. Aloisi, 87, of Monessen, died Thursday, March 27, 2025. Lucille was born Dec. 4, 1937, to the late Anna and Matthew Musial. Lucille was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a 1955 graduate of Monessen High School. She attended California State Teachers College and earned a bachelor’s degree in education in 1959 and a master’s degree in counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 1984. Lucille had a fruitful career teaching, counseling and grant writing. For decades, Lucille taught piano and organ lessons. She utilized her musical talents to bring joy to others playing church services and accompanying her husband’s vocals at weddings. Lucille also creatively expressed herself via cooking, crocheting, sewing and writing poetry. Lucille was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Henry A. Aloisi; son, Dino A. Aloisi; and brothers, John and Thomas Musial. She is survived by her daughter, Janine Aloisi Lombardi (Robert Lombardi); daughter-inlaw, Rita Aloisi; grandchildren, Anthony and Julia Aloisi, and Ruby and Henry Lombardi; sisters, Phyllis Kain, Carole Kolowitz (Ron Kolowitz) and Kathleen Paterra. Family and friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME, 1415 Marion Ave, Monessen.
