William ‘Bill’ Lemonovich – Monongahela
William “Bill” Lemonovich, 77, Monongahela, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital. Bill was born on June 12, 1947, in Centerville, Pa., the son of the late Bruno J. and Helen Makusenka Lemonovich. He graduated from Beth Center High School in 1965 and achieved his bachelor’s degree in German social studies from California University of Pennsylvania and his master’s degree at Millersville St. College. He was employed as a public school teacher in Montgomery County, Md., from 1970 until his retirement in 2004. Following his retirement, he was a substitute teacher in Trinity and Beth Center school districts. Mr. Lemonovich also taught the forensics team at Trinity. He had a lifelong love for music and was the sole proprietor of Disc Inferno D.J. He collected records and jukeboxes as well. William was also a car and memorabilia enthusiast, especially Mopar. Catholic by faith, he was a member of the Belle Vernon Moose and the Sons of the American Legion. On July 2, 1971, he married his wife, Mary Mayton Lemonovich, who survives. Preceding him in death was his daughter, Nicole Lynn Lemonovich, who passed away in 2001. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, Pa. A blessing service will begin at 1 p.m. with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery, Charleroi, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Washington Area Humane Society.
