McKeesport Area approves preliminary budget

It holds taxes steady for the 2025-26 school year.

The McKeesport Area school board unanimously approved a preliminary budget Thursday with no tax increase for 2025-26.

Board President Mark Holtzman expressed excitement for the budget, which keeps the current 20.96 millage rate.
