Stacey Renee Cook – Charleroi
Stacey Renee Cook, 45, of Charleroi, slipped gently out of the hands of her family, into the precious hands of the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2023, just 22 days before her 46th birthday. Stacey was born June 26, 1977, in McKeesport to the late Frances C. Cook and Clarence J. Bradford also, Frank Sedok. Stacey attended and graduated with honors from Belle Vernon Area High School in 1995. She then went on to attend Duff’s Business Institute in the fall of 1996. She worked for PA Mentor of Washington, Pa., and SPHS Henry Commons in Belle Vernon, up until her health issues in June of 2022. Stacey continued to stay busy and was known to several young men and women as their second mother, offering great advice, affection and smiles. One of her favorite sayings was “Make it make sense”. She was a lover of books and could read two to three books in one day. She loved her music and would listen to all genres of music whether cleaning or just sitting around enjoying the company of very close friends. She really loved spending quality time with her children and three wonderful grandchildren. Stacey always opened her home to many people with no judgments and always gave straight up advice. She was predeceased by her parents, Frances C. Cook and Clarence J. Bradford, and Frank Sedok; two sons, Jaden Eldon Cook and Reyon Mason Harris; one sister, Tanika Hampton; and maternal grandmother, Lucy Ada Clemons Johnson Cook. Stacey leaves to cherish her memory four lovely daughters, Staisha L. McClellan, Asian A. Reid, Amir R.C. Reid and Aunye R. Reid and one son, Bryan D. Harris, all of Charleroi; as well as her bonus children, three precious grandchildren, Prince Grogan, Ice’lynn R.R. Reid, Avianna F.R. Lipscomb; two sisters, Ranell M. Carlock of Donora and Celeste D. Varner of Donora; one brother, Brian L. Cook of Monessen; two aunts, Gail “Sissy” Jeter of Manassas, Va., and Audrey M. Johnson of Belle Vernon; two goddaughters, Halla A. Aldridge of Greensburg and Makaia L. Watts of Belle Vernon; two god-sisters, Bridget Norris of Clairton and Jawanna “Mooch” McDougald Warren of Clairton; several close lifetime family and friends; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other extended and close family and friends. She will be truly missed and loved by her entire family, friends and community. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, with funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, Bishop Karl Jackson, eulogist. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
