Costume contest, dog adoption set for Mutt March

Monongahela police Officer Jeff Toth and Mitch, the department’s K-9 officer, will help lead the parade at next month’s Mutt March.

The annual Mutt March from the Monongahela Area Revitalization Corporation returns May 4, this year with a “Star Wars” costume contest and onsite dog adoption from Cross Your Paws Rescue. “It’s just fun … it’s not political, it’s not anything, it’s just a community event that is whimsical and light-hearted and fun,” organizer Corrina Withrow said. “And I absolutely love dogs, so this is something I enjoy.”
