Friday’s football game between Charleroi Area and Monessen was called off because of alleged threats made against a Charleroi player.
A tweet sent Friday afternon by Charleroi Area School District announced the cancellation of the contest, which had been scheduled to be played at Monessen’s Memorial Stadium.
