Forward Township’s supervisors are expected to vote at their next meeting to replace an ordinance that governs how far gas and oil wells have to be from their wellhead and existing buildings.
The board held a public hearing on the matter and another hearing where the supervisors proposed an ordinance establishing a volunteer service credit program to enact tax credits for volunteer members of the township’s fire companies and nonprofit medical service agencies.
