Valley spared worst of flooding

Remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon sparked flood warnings for parts of the Mid-Mon Valley throughout the weekend.

The National Weather Service issued a series of alerts Sunday for parts of Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties, including a hazardous weather warning that remains in effect through this evening.
