A Monongahela man accused of dealing drugs out of his apartment across the street from the police station is behind bars.
Aaron L. Webb, 37, of West Main Street is charged with one felony count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver after police broke down the door to his apartment and found more than 2,600 stamp bags of suspected heroin, marijuana and almost $40,000 in his apartment Tuesday night – less than 24 hours after receiving an anonymous tip about high traffic at the residence.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, police attempted to serve the search warrant around 7:30 p.m. but Webb refused to answer the door.
After gaining entrance to the apartment they found him on the couch and arrested him, the affidavit stated.
Police found 1,900 stamp bags of suspected heroin in a safe underneath of a bed, three bricks and an addition 11 stamp bags in a fake Barbasol can, 42 stamp bags on the top shelf of a closet, 11 bricks inside of a Sheetz bag in a living room closet, three bags of suspected marijuana in a bedroom drawer, four cellphones, a digital scale, a plastic bag full of money and additional “rolls” of money in the pockets of a jacket.
