The U.S. National Guard has approved Monessen’s request for assistance with the emergency demolition of a former firemen’s club.
Councilman Dave Feehan said Friday that representatives from the Guard’s Pennsylvania headquarters contacted him to say all paperwork had been processed and Monessen is “third in line” for upcoming projects.
