Altrusa provides holiday food for students

Earlier this year, the women of Altrusa International of McKeesport learned there are several students in the McKeesport Area School District who worry about whether they will have enough to eat during their holiday break from school.

They are students who come from low-income families and stay nourished throughout the school year by receiving free breakfast and lunch during the school day and are treated to healthy snacks during after-school programs.
