Belle Vernon Area stretched its winning streak to six games and capped off a perfect 2-0 trip to California University’s Holiday Hoopfest Tournament with a 41-31 victory over Charleroi Friday afternoon.
The Leopards (6-3) trailed 19-13 at halftime before outscoring the Cougars, 28-12, in the second half.
Rachel Wobrak led the way for BVA with 13 points, while Kaci Bitonti chipped in with 10.
