Rostraver Township commissioners on Thursday approved a final 2019 general fund budget, which does not include a tax increase.
During a special meeting, commissioners Devin DeRienzo, Henry Boldyzar, Gary Beck and Raymond Iacoboni approved the balanced budget, which lists both revenues and expenditures of $7,462,995. Commissioner Gary Litvany was absent.
Solicitor Timothy Maatta said property tax rates will remain the same at 15 mills, or $1.50 on every $100 of assessed value.
The township has not raised taxes for more than 15 years.
