California hopes to bounce back in Class A

California baseball coach Lou Pasquale hopes the program is headed in the right direction coming off a disappointing season.

After four consecutive section titles, the Trojans finished fourth in Section 1-2A with a 9-8 overall record and a 9-5 section mark. 

It was abnormal for a few reasons. It marked the first time since 2013 that Cal didn’t win the section crown and it was only the second time since 2011 that the Trojans did not advance to the PIAA playoffs.

However, things look to be getting back to normal for a team that moves down to Class A this year after competing in 2A.
