After getting home from his day job as an attorney, Eric Wittenberg often enjoys working some more.
In addition to his legal duties, Wittenberg likes to write books about Civil War history.
“I’ve always been a writer, and I find that I can’t just sit and watch TV in the evenings,” Wittenberg said. “I have to do something to keep my brain occupied. I started writing about the Civil War 25 years ago, and I’ve been doing it regularly ever since.”
Wittenberg will discuss the controversial historical figure Jeb Stuart at this month’s California University of Pennsylvania Civil War Roundtable at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kara Alumni Building.
