It’s been quite some time since members of the Elizabeth Forward hockey team had the chance to step on the ice against an opponent at the Rostraver Ice Garden.

The program took a hiatus last season due to a lack of participation, but has made a comeback, competing in the PIHL’s Class B South Division.

The Warriors made their return to the ice Monday night against Connellsville, but departed a little earlier than expected.

With the fog covering a large portion of the rink and the Falcons leading 3-0 with 7:56 remaining in the first period, the referees decided to postpone the game due to the low visibility hindering both goaltenders.
