Harry M. Corrin – Charleroi

Harry M. Corrin, 91, of Charleroi, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at the Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Township. Harry was born June 10, 1928, in Monongahela, son of the late Harry R. and Nancy Myers Corrin. He graduated from Monongahela High School in 1946 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1950. He retired in 1993 from Monongahela Valley Hospital, where he was a pharmacist with 37 years of service. Harry was a member of First United Methodist Church in Monongahela, member and past Noble Grand of I.O.O.F. Charleroi Lodge No. 1030, a life member and master Mason of Charleroi-Monongahela Lodge No. 337 and a member of the Elks Club of Charleroi. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Adele Breuer Corrin; his daughter, Adele Selinger and husband Erik of Plum borough; his son, Brian Corrin and wife Dana of Fallowfield Township; two grandchildren, Ian Selinger and wife Amanda and Jacob Corrin; and a great-granddaughter, Audrey Selinger. In addition to Harry’s parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Skinnell. The family would like to thank the staff of the third floor of the Mon Valley Care Center and the hospice nurses from Via Quest, especially Joan, Nicole and Linda for their excellent care. Friends were received Monday at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jude Urso officiating.
