No tax increase is anticipated in the tentative budget presented by Monongahela city council Friday morning.

The budget of just under $3.2 million is expected to be adopted at the Dec. 11 meeting, according to Mayor Bob Kepics.

That meeting will be Kepics’ last after 12 years as mayor and 10 years on city council prior to that.

“At least as long as I’ve been here, we haven’t had a tax increase,” Kepics said.
