Belle Vernon Area and Ringgold competed at the 32-team North Coast Classic in Independence, Ohio over the weekend.
BVA’s Cole Weightman came away with the 195-pound championship, pinning Zach Porch of Berea-Midland, Ohio, in the second period of the final to cap a dominating performance. Weightman (8-0) won seven matches with five coming via pinfall to earn the gold.
