Daryle J. Gardner-Bonneau, 65, of Portage, Mich., died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in her home. She was born Dec. 25, 1953, in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Arthur “Art” Maser and Dorothy Caskey Maser, who survives and resides in Monongahela. Daryle was a consultant for ergonomics and served on several national and standard boards, including the FDA and HFES. She was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity, a world traveler and a scholar, with a Ph.D. and multiple master’s degrees. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Nicholas Bonneau of Portage, Mich.; two sisters, Vicki Sutherland of Monongahela, and Lori Paul and husband Robert of Cabot. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Bonneau, who died July 30, 2019; and her brother-in-law, Mark Sutherland. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2019.
