Kailey Larcinese still has two seasons left in an Elizabeth Forward uniform.
But she knows her softball career won’t end once she’s finished donning the red and black.
Larcinese announced Dec. 17 that she has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball careers at Division I Towson University in Maryland.
Larcinese will play for veteran head coach Lisa Costello, who led the Tigers to a 27-27 record in 2019.
“I am very excited that even after high school, I’ll be able to play the game that I love at a place that blew me away the first time I stepped on campus,” Larcinese said. “I have always dreamed of playing at the next level since I started playing travel ball when I was 9 years old.
“I am extremely grateful I can continue to play this game, but it is also a relief to know I’m going to get an amazing education as there is life after softball.”
