A touch of history landed in Donora Thursday morning when the Heinz History Center’s “We Can Do It! WWII” traveling exhibit arrived.

Visitors will have a chance to meet several World War II heroes up close as the wax figures of four Western Pennsylvanians stand throughout the space.

Area residents can check out the showcase of artifacts starting Saturday in the lower level of the Donora Public Library.

Several history center employees and Donora Historical Society volunteers spent hours yesterday setting up various vignettes that will make up the exhibit that will be at the Donora Public Library until April 7.
