The Allegheny County Elections Division on Tuesday launched the “Ready, Set, Vote” initiative’s  one-stop website for residents seeking information on the elections.

AlleghenyVotes.com contains information on the new voting system and provides information on voter outreach efforts. The site includes instructional videos and links to and about additional voter information including voter registration, becoming a poll worker and includes links to the county’s elections website.

Ready, Set, Vote went live Tuesday afternoon during the first 2020 Board of Elections meeting of the year. County Executive Rich Fitzgerald was named chairman and Elections Division staff provided an update on preparations for the upcoming election.

In early December, the county entered into a contract with Election Systems & Software, LLC for voting equipment, software and services and began receiving equipment shortly thereafter.
