James Schettler, 75, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. He was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Robert Schettler and the late Catherine Slopak Schettler. He was a member of Crossroads Ministries, Library Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert J. Schettler Jr. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Mary Schettler, with whom he lived; two sons, Scott Schettler of Scott Township and Brian (Lisa) Schettler of California; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica and Isaish. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at Crossroads Ministries, Library Baptist Church, with Pastor Ken Barner officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L.
