Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday arrested a McKeesport man who allegedly sexually assaulted an employee of a Pittsburgh area hotel.

Chief Deputy Kevin Kraus said deputies arrived at the Hilltop Inn – Pittsburgh in Kennedy Township at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday for an unrelated situation involving a protection from abuse order when they were unexpectedly stopped by a female hotel employee.

“She was running toward the deputies claiming that a man attempted to rape her,” Kraus said.

The Mon Valley Independent does not reveal the identity of alleged sexual assault victims.

Kraus said deputies went to the hotel room where the victim said she was assaulted and a man, later identified by the victim as 39-year-old Maurice Ebore of McKeesport, answered the door.
