Karen Marie “Teach” Piccione, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021. Born on Dec. 2, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Carmen Piccione and Marlene Piccione. Karen was a graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School and then went on to graduate from Slippery Rock University. She received her master’s degree from California State University in secondary education. She worked for Intermediate Unit 1, until she made a career change and went into sales. Karen was an avid fan of the Rolling Stones and anyone who know her, knew of her love for them. She had a great personality and a smile that would light up any room. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Joe Piccione; and a sister, Lynn Piccione, both of Idaho; her devoted partner, Rick Wilson of Monessen; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen, Pa., 724-684-4877, Trudy L.
