Janice M. Hruby Reed, 60, of Monessen, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Born in Washington, Pa., on Nov. 29, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William V. and Dolores L. Nogy Hruby. Janice was a fun-loving person with a big heart. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Yoder-Kovalchuk and husband Luke of Rostraver; grandchildren, Gavin Yackuboskey and Novella Kovalchuk; brother, William Hruby of Rostraver; nieces, Michelle Manko Ciferno and husband Jason of Jefferson Township and Jayanna Ciferno; and nephews, William Hruby and Chris Hruby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Hruby and her sister, Cathy Hruby Manko. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, in the JAMES C.
