George J. Schoener Jr., 82, of Charleroi, passed away on Nov. 13, 2021. Born on March 11, 1939, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Anna Sopko Schoener. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and was retired from PennDOT. George is survived by his sisters, Sylvia Schoener of Charleroi and Noreen Ann Schoener of Arizona. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Donald Neill. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A.
