Fast-moving blaze tears through White Oak house

Jeff Stitt / Mon Valley Independent No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a home on the 900 block of Lincoln Way in White Oak on Wednesday afternoon, but firefighters had to deal with cold temperatures as they battled flames and as heavy smoke billowed from the home. An Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating.

A White Oak man escaped injury after a fast-moving blaze ripped through his house Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze quickly traveled through the upper floor of the home on the White Oak side of the 900 block of Lincoln Way.
