Ringgold was on the precipice of a WPIAL playoff spot last season, with a late matchup against Peters Township standing as perhaps its last hurdle.
That matchup never happened, though. Two hours before weigh-in, Ringgold was alerted that Peters Township had a COVID scare, and could not participate. Mt. Lebanon, who Ringgold lost to in its first matchup of the season, made the playoffs instead of the Rams.
