The residents of Victoria House got the gift of comfort this week thanks to the woman who will be Monessen’s first lady in 10 days.
Bonnie Mozer, the wife of Mayor-elect Ron Mozer, crochets every day and she was looking for new projects earlier this year.
“I had crocheted blankets for all my siblings and I thought, now what do I do?” Mozer said. “So I thought, maybe I can make some lap blankets and find a personal care home to donate them.”
