Worth saving? Buildings in Elizabeth, Monessen make group’s annual list of endangered sites worth preserving

The Young Preservationists Association of Pittsburgh released its annual top 10 list of buildings and places in the region the organization thinks are worth saving. And the list, which was presented virtually via YouTube in a video entitled YPA’s Virtual Top Ten ‘21, names Mon Valley buildings, including the shuttered Century III Mall, the former State Bank of Elizabeth and two buildings in Monessen.
