Charleroi council has opted to not reopen its 2022 budget.
The previous administration unanimously approved a spending plan for this year that holds the line on taxes, keeping the current millage at 6.85.
The 2022 budget is approximately $2.6 million, but incoming council members previously requested to reopen the budget for several reasons at an agenda meeting last week.
