As frigid temperatures grip the area, students at Elizabeth Forward High School are hoping to share some warmth.
The Student Government Association is holding a Winter Coat Drive. They’re hoping to bundle the less fortunate with new winter clothing and so far the enthusiasm is heating up. More than six full boxes of coats, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, hoodies and socks have been collected since Jan. 18. The drive ends Feb. 7, at which point donations will be distributed to homeless shelters in and around the Mon Valley.
