The Monessen Family Center (MFC) is one of the first original state-funded family centers in the region. It started in 1994 as a collaborative effort between Monessen School District and Southwestern PA Human Services.  “We have an excellent relationship with our community and agency partners enabling us to provide an array of services,” said Kim Egidi, program supervisor since 1997. “We are here to serve the community and provide child development activities, resources and opportunities to learn from other parents.”
