Four plows stand at ready (including the truck bought from WO and one lent from Hempfield)) — Four large dump trucks equipped with plows were ready for action outside of one of the McKeesport Public Works Department garages Friday evening. The truck on the far left was loaned to the city by Hempfield Township, and the yellow truck was recently purchased from White Oak.

Road crews around the Mon Valley and Greater Pittsburgh area were gearing up Friday night for a winter storm that was headed for the region.
