Marsha Adams, children’s librarian at Monessen Public Library, checks on chicken eggs that are in an incubator in the children’s section. The eggs were placed in the incubator March 23 and are expected to hatch next week. On the evening of April 18, the library will welcome children to meet and hold the baby chicks. Until then, they can visit the eggs in the children’s area.
