Elizabeth Township apartment complex fire leaves families displaced

Six families are displaced and a dog has died following an apartment fire in Elizabeth Township Wednesday. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Around 2 p.m., heavy smoke was seen billowing out from unit 411 at the Virginia Manor apartment complex. Volunteer fire companies from Elizabeth Borough, Elizabeth Township, Buena Vista and Blaine Hill arrived on scene and completely extinguished the fire within 15 minutes.
