Vivian and Frank Piccolino volunteered to help stock trout along Long Run in White Oak this week in preparation for the start of trout season, which kicks off at 8 a.m. today. Not pictured is their little sister, Eve, who also helped. The trio, along with their mother, Alison Piccolino, a district manager in the Mon Valley for the 45th Senatorial District, have been volunteering at the trout stocking events for several years.
Mon Valley and Pennsylvania anglers in general, get ready. Decent weather is in the forecast, which is good news for those who are heading out for the first day of trout season, which officially starts at 8 a.m. today.
