Emma Stefanick and Maddie Lancy each launched solo homers in the top of the ninth inning to push Charleroi to a 5-3 win over Bentworth to pull in front of Carmichaels by a half game for second place in the Section 3-2A standings.
It was a come-from-behind win for the Cougars (7-5, 7-2) as the Bearcats took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning off of starting pitcher Stefanick.
