Claire L. Povich, 86, of Monessen, passed away on June 16, 2022, in Baldwin Health Center. She was born in Fayette City on Feb. 21, 1936, daughter of the late Theodore and Joan Gardner Kenny. Surviving are her husband, Charles Povich; daughters, Vicki and husband George Ross and Amy Ashiq; son, Charles and wife Judy Povich; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Kenny. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, with 3 p.m. the time of service with Pastor John Custer officiating.
