Caryll Elizabeth Jackson Remaley, 91, of Berwick, Pa., died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at Celebration Villa of Berwick. Born March 14, 1931, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of Sturgis and Evangeline Jackson. Caryll was the “Martha Stewart of K-Mart” back in the day. She worked at the cigar plant, Grant’s and then K-Mart until her retirement. Caryll loved Pittsburgh and was an avid fan of the Pirates and Steelers. She told great stories and was entertaining to everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas D. Remaley; her son, Nicholas W. Remaley; her sister, Elaine Keller-Doman; and her brother, Sam Jackson. Surviving are her two sons, Paul Remaley and his wife Brenda of Berwick, and Tim Remaley and his wife Vicki of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren, Paul, Jill and Chloe Remaley and Hannah Remaley Marshall; four great-grandchildren, Morgan and Rowan Remaley and Lydia and Ridley Tkach.
