With only 24 dressed players on its sideline Friday night, miscues and an inability to move the ball proved costly for South Allegheny. The Gladiators committed two turnovers and managed just 39 yards of total offense while going into a 34-point hole in the opening 24 minutes of a 41-0 loss to Shady Side Academy in non-conference play at Gladiators Stadium.
