Mike Beresh and Ron Janney, above, and the Donora Veterans Council received a donation from the Donora Smog Museum and Historical Society. The society donated $3,700 to local organizations with money raised from the Stan Musial plaque dedication in July. Recipients included Donora Volunteer Fire Co., Ernest E. Jobes American Legion Post 212, Ernest E. Jobes American Legion Auxiliary Unit 212, Mon Valley Youth & Teen Association, Donora Youth Baseball Association, St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Food Bank and the Salvation Army Mon Valley Worship and Service Center.
