Family upset with Fox Stop Road repairs

Erik and Malissa Williams are upset about the condition of their driveway along Fox Stop Road. Erik points toward a steep grade at the top of their property that they claim isn’t safe to travel on and hasn’t been restored to the way it was before the repair project began.

While it was a relief for many when Fox Stop Road in Fallowfield Township recently reopened after being shut down for nearly four years, one couple is frustrated with the condition of their property following the repairs. Erik and Malissa Williams own property at 276 Fox Stop Road, which was closed off in January 2019 after a water problem caused slippage, creating an 18-foot drop on the north end of the road off old Route 71 and a 40-foot-long lateral crack running along the edge of the roadway.
