If you can’t get excited for this time of year in high school sports, you should probably go see a doctor. Even outside of the Mon Valley, big football games lurk everywhere this week. High school soccer and volleyball teams are in the quarterfinal round of the WPIAL playoffs and the WPIAL cross-country championships are today.
