Local football teams and coaches found out Saturday when and where they’ll open up the playoffs as the WPIAL released the brackets for the 2022 WPIAL football championships Saturday. In all, eight local teams still have championship aspirations. Three of those will have a week off until their quests begin. The Valley has one top seed and to no one’s surprise it’s Belle Vernon Area.
