A sudden shift in momentum allowed Monessen to turn a one-goal deficit into its second section victory of the season Wednesday afternoon.
Sam Saylor scored a pair of second-half goals just over two minutes apart to help lift the host Greyhounds to a 2-1 win over Bentworth in Section 2-1A play.
With the win, Monessen found a way to knock off its long-time section foe for the first time in 12 years. The Hounds’ last win over the Bearcats came in October 2010.
