William ‘Wink’ Winkleblech -Monongahela

William “Wink” Winkleblech, 74, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, in his home. He was born Dec. 8, 1947, in New Ea-gle, the son of Malden and Arlene Beazell Winkleblech. Wink was a veteran during the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Carroll Township Legion, James C. Ford Post 949 in Dunkirk, Masonic Lodge 615 in Charleroi and a former member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge 1030 in Charleroi. He retired from the Charleroi Area School District, where he was employed as a bus driver and custodian. After retiring, he worked part time as a substitute bus driver and custodian for the Ringgold School District. Wink also was employed at the Frye Funeral Home as a greeter. He was currently working as a security guard at Mon Valley Care Center. When Wink wasn’t working, he enjoyed watching Pittsburgh sports. He was a very dedicated father to his sons and would do anything for his family. He is survived by two sons, Ryan Winkleblech and wife Andrea of Milford, Del., and Jarold Winkleblech of Monongahela; two stepsons, Ronnie and Randie Yowonske of Charleroi; and four grandchildren, Arianne, Kendra, Matthew and Malen Winkleblech. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Ann Weld Winkleblech, who died Nov. 5, 2013; and his brother, Kyle Winkleblech. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, with the Rev.
